Semi-finalist in the 4th Annual GII Awards (sponsered by Ziff-Davis): The Global Information Infrastructure (GII) Awards (www.gii.com) program is the Internet industry's premier leadership initiative honoring a wide variety of businesses, organizations, and communities. The Awards showcase the advancements that are possible in all sectors of business and society when network and Internet technology are creatively applied.
The Semi-finalists were chosen from an initial pool of entrants exemplifying the best practices and newest models in the use of Internet and network technologies across the nation. The Semi-finalists were judged in ten different categories. Each category was presided over by separate panels of judges comprised of recognized experts in their respective fields. This round of judging narrowed the field down to six finalists in each category.
